The Power and Importance of Saying “No” – A Creative Mornings Sneak Peek

December 5, 2011 By Ron Dawson

Sometimes you just have to say no to a job. There could be any number of reasons. The pay is too low. The client may not a good fit. The timing could be bad. Today we have a short video talking about this topic. It’s a sneak peek at Creative Mornings, the monthly networking and educational event started by “Swiss-Miss” Tina Roth Eisenberg. In this video from an Atlanta chapter meeting, Rick Anwyl of Son and Sons talks about the value of saying “No.” (An answer to the question, “How do you deal with potential clients who think a project will cost X, but you know it’s going to cost 10X?”

This Friday, December 9, the Atlanta chapter will have guest speaker Ben Chestnut, co-founder of Mailchimp.com. Tickets are free and first-come, first serve. They become available today at 11 am EST. The last two events ran out of tickets literally in less than an hour. So depending on when you’re reading this blog post, it may already be too late. Click here to get them.
