One part poignant and purposeful monologue. One part witty and wonderful dialogue. A show designed to provide authentic, down-to-earth, and actionable advice for creative entrepreneurs.
In this introduction, I set the stage for the show, explain why I started it and what you can expect. It includes a partial interview with fellow filmmaker Brandon McCormick of Whitestone Motion Pictures. Brandon’s company makes short films with feature film production values. He and his team are currently in the finishing stages on a feature-length special they produced for The History Channel. By all accounts, he has made it. But Brandon offers some sobering thoughts about success, passion and committing to an artistic life.
My goal is for this show to inspire, educate and encourage creative entrepreneurs in their endeavors. If you’re looking to get rich as a creative professional, this is not the show for you. If you’re looking to become world-famous, this is also not the show for you.
But if you’re looking for authentic, down-to-earth, and actionable advice that will help you survive, and maybe even thrive doing what you’re passionate about, then welcome.
