Today we continue our women filmmakers series with cinematographer and editor at Zacuto films, Karen Abad. Karen is a filmmaker who knows her stuff. Starting out in celluoid during her time at San Francisco’s Academy of Art, Karen has a keen sense of story, a good eye, and knows what she does best. She has no dreams or illusions of becoming a “director.” She loves DP work, and that’s what she wants to do. It’s always nice to meet a lady who knows what she wants. 🙂 Enjoy!
