Breaking the Glass Film Series Ep. 01

September 26, 2016 By Ron Dawson

The inaugural episode of short film docu-series tackles the subject that started it all. Should women act like men to get ahead in the business?

What all started with a tangential comment made on a Skype call led to an entire episode which led to a podcast mini-series and has now culminated in a short-film docu-series. There have been many roundtable and panel discussions on this topic of gender inequality in the entertainment business, but none quite like this. We go beyond just the straight-forward panel discussion, and weave in 1-on-1 interviews with the panelists, stock clips, film and television scenes, and filmmaker submissions to weave a story. A story of six close friends, in varying aspects of the industry, having a no-holds-barred discussion in a living room setting. And you get to be a fly on the wall.
