I’m lucky to have a great partner who supports my craziness and being that she is a freelance writer specializing in training doesn’t hurt. I had kept telling my kids to do what they love but I hadn’t been living by example. So it’s time for me to take my own advice and reading inspirational stories like this just helps me down the road. So thanks for putting yourself out there, looking forward to seeing you on Crossing the 180!

Thanks so much for your note Bernard … my Dad was the hardest working person I ever knew and I really believed there was no way I could ever match him in terms of his effort and work ethic. What I didn’t know was that my only real problem was not having passion for my work. Today I do work hard, but amazingly it doesn’t feel like I am working at all! I also believe that in anything we do, but especially filmmaking, that the art of practice is the single most important thing we can do for our craft. Thanks again!

That’s like almost 4 films a week!
Love how it’s all about the passion and the appreciation of film. Keep it up!

Hey Nicole. Thanks so much for the comment. It’s been fun seeing you and he other “reelies” fall in love with and embrace filmmaking. I look forward to seeing how you evolve. Hope to hear from you again.
