Just had a non-profit educational client ask for a bid to send me out to 5 different locations across the US. Did a Google search, and this came up. This was just the article I was looking for AND you’re in the same business which is a bonus!
Cheers,
Graham

So glad I helped JJ. I really do think it’s better for the clients if you do the planning. Also feel free to build into your total rate the time it takes you to do all that planning. It could easily add up to an hour or two.

Just got a new inquiry a couple of days ago for DC wedding. I sent him a destination wedding rate but no travel charge. I told him it varies depending on locations. I would actually spend some time planning if he follows up. I like me planning instead of them doing it. They already have so much in mind for wedding planning, and i dont want them to feel there is more stuff to do because I’m from out of state. Before I read this, I was gonna have then plan my trip but
Totally changed my mind! Thank you, Ron!
